On Sunday, April 29, 2007 The Chappaqua Orchestra celebrated the 75th birthday of WQXR radio personality Robert Sherman. John Corigliano, Academy Award and Pulitzer Prize- winning composer, spoke to the audience about his history with Robert Sherman and about composing the music to the movie The Red Violin. Afterward, violinist Timothy Fain, narrator Robert Sherman, conductor Michael Shapiro and The Chappaqua Orchestra premiered the narrated version of The Red Violin Suite, with narration written especially for Mr. Sherman.

After the concert, a celebratory dinner was held at the Mount Kisco Country Club. All photographs by Randy Matusow Seligman.
